Our history
The history of Incolflex is the story of a dream that began in Miraflores, Boyaca, in the 1980s. Mr. Pedro Daza and Mrs. Custodia Pinzon opened their company to sell agricultural machinery in order to help the peasants of the region of Tongue. However, they had to close the company for reasons of force majeure and they moved to Bogotá to continue fighting for their dream, but now thinking of taking it to the entire national territory: helping Colombian peasants to make life in the countryside easier for them.
In June 2001, that dream took a new form with the constitution of the Colombian Flexible Industry company, Incolflex, a name chosen in honor of our first product: a flexible shaft for scythes. We started by manufacturing spare parts and accessories for the use of agricultural machinery, and over time we expanded our portfolio to include machinery and spare parts from internationally recognized companies. Our founder, Mr. Pedro Daza, traveled throughout the country to establish our network of distributors, taking with him a briefcase with the catalog of spare parts. He always considered it important to visit customers to understand their needs and offer them the products that best fit them. This personalized approach remains one of our founding principles.
Our founder, Mr. Pedro Daza, had a dream: to have a wide portfolio of machinery and spare parts, have his own brand of agricultural machinery and go to the Agroexpo fair as an exhibitor. In 2007, we made ties with Japan's Zenoah Company to start importing agricultural machinery. For 2009, we began to import stationary and diesel and gasoline engines, and we managed to meet one of our goals: to be at Agroexpo as an exhibitor. Mr. Pedro was very happy to see that his dream was coming true, but unfortunately, he suffered a sudden traffic accident that prevented him from continuing to enjoy how the company was growing.
Despite his loss, his legacy continued thanks to his children, who decided to continue the dream that their father had for the company. In 2020, we managed to fulfill one of his biggest dreams by launching our own brand of scythes, ZendaKomatzu.
Today, Incolflex has a network of distributors throughout Colombia, and is the fourth largest agricultural machinery company in the country. Our product portfolio is one of the most complete on the market, which allows us to offer a wide variety of machinery and spare parts for the agricultural sector. We continue working with the legacy of our founder: Facilitate life in the countryside. His vision continues to drive our growth, and his entrepreneurial spirit and perseverance remain a fundamental part of our company.
